...is it rude to ask the Chinese delivery guy to grab a newspaper on the way over? The store is right next to him. I mean, I'll pay for the damn paper. Just wondrin.

It's not rude where we come from,Xmas. I have asked a florist I was ordering long distance from if he could add a $20 bill to the arrangement and tack it on my card and they did.
Picking up a paper is good for business. It's not like you are asing the guy to carry a gallon of milk. The man would be a rat weasel to refuse.
