You Can't Have an Assassination Without an Ass

Just now I came across my riff serious ruminations on assassination attempts, and it dawned on me that no matter who wins this election, the odds of someone trying to off the president is pretty high, no? It's the perfect storm. On one hand, obviously the first black president is in danger of some white supremist nutjob taking a pop at him. And if McCain wins, wouldn't some right-wing Fundamentalist fringe dude like to get him out of the way for Palin, so that once again they can have the God Squad in The White House? I'm mean, damn...if I was Sarah Powell, I'd be very excited about the next four years.
