The UG has been talking for a while about the importance of cities in elections and government, and the numbers brought out by Nate Silver today confirm Op's thoughts.
Maybe I'm the only idiot in the country, but if asked before this morning if there were more urban or rural residents in the country, I would've assumed rural. No real reason, just what I would've thought.
Now, certainly I can be forgiven for thinking this way. But did the fucking US Government not know this either? Otherwise, why the fuck has it taken til now to establish an Office of Urban Policy? What the fuck - do these people ACTUALLY believe there is a "real" and "unreal" America? Have they always?
