Everybody Andrew fucking Sullivan needs to quit patting himself on the back for pouncing on Palin for her "Africa is a country" gaffe. For fuck's sake, enough already. Number one, I refuse to believe she doesn't know Africa is a continent. Camon. And two, who gives a shit? She's gone, packed away, back in Alaska. Instead of gleefully picking on the next stripper weather girl for Fox Football Sundays, maybe Sullivan and others can start asking themselves why, in an election during which 80% of the country thought the country was "on the wrong track", and everyone in the country was screaming that the only thing that mattered was the economy, over 57,000,000 people stood up and voted for a guy that admitted he didn't really understand economics, acted like a complete buffoon during the financial meltdown and whose policies pretty much assure that unless you're in the top 6% money-wise you are screwed. I'm a little more curious about that than if Palin's clothes are getting returned to Bed, Bath and Beyonce.
80% of people said we were on the wrong track.
94% would not be helped by his economic plan.
And yet 47% voted for him. Amazing. How does that happen?
