My dad only gave me advice about girls once, after I had been dumped by my first love and must have been so disconsolate that he felt he had to step in, and we actually had the following conversation:
POPPATIME: Hey, don't worry, there's plenty of fish in the sea.
XMASTIME: Really?
POPPATIME: oh, who the hell knows.
