You can explain it away any way you want, but the fact that JC Romero can fail a drug test (his 2nd, mind you) and still be allowed to pitch TWO World Series games while Sean Avery says something stupid on camera and hasn't been allowed to play a game since, and looks to be practically blackballed; something about the juxtaposition of punishments kinda reeks to me. I could give two shits about either guy, they both seem like jagoffs, and obviously it's two different sports, but really? Camon.
PREDICTION: Teams start to juice a month before the playoffs. "Oooh, busted? Oh no, I'll hafta miss a bunch of games...NEXT YEAR!! hahahahahaah!!! Suckas."
