As Usual, I Should Be Working for the GOP

Apparently Americans are becoming less religious:

"In the 1990s, it really sunk in on the American public generally that there was a long-lasting 'religious right' connected to a political party, and that turned a lot of people the other way," he said of the link between the Republican Party and groups such as the Moral Majority and Focus on the Family.

Based on what they've done for religion in America, it seems to me that if the Republicans really want to make homosexuality vanish, they'd embrace it. Christ, the way this bunch is skeeving people out, it's amazing Toby Keith, unborn fetuses and war haven't disappeared by now.
