Wasteful Spending Part VII

Matt Yglesias peripherally touches upon what I wrote HERE and HERE with his post today re: the hypocrisy of the Republicans' indignation over "wasteful spending." As in they don't mind flushing money down the toilet as long as it's for "defense," "security," or bullshit no-bid contracts handed out to their buddies. And no, I'm not gonna actually say "Halliburton."
