I understand free speech as well as the next guy, but at what point does a woman with influence over millions of people using bold-faced lies to scare people become slander in a shouting-fire-in-a-theatre kinda way?

But more importantly, my favorite part of the whole Palin statement is the fact that she chose, of all people, Michelle "I Am Single-mindedly Determined to Be Seen as the Dumbest, Most Batshit Person on the Fucking Planet" Bachmann to reference for credibility. Unbelievable. I'd say this would be like the guy running for town dogcatcher having Michael Vick campaign for him, except at least the dogs wouldn't be dumb enough to listen to him.
