Because I am a Francophile this year, my guts perked up when I saw that today's
America's Test Kitchen episode is "French Classics Reimagined," and
they roasted this chicken that had juice coming outta the goddam screen. Mmmm. In a pot, covered with foil and a lid, cooking at only 250 for 2 hours. I often wonder why I don't roast a chicken once a week, it's so goddam cheap and easy. But I never do. But now I might. Hey, I'm an enigma.
But then again,
cooking with roommates blows.
