I don't understand why steakhouses like Peter Luger's make such a big deal outta creamed spinach. I mean, here they are with their calling card being steak - the most craven, carnivorous, bloody of all food, and you're supposed to be excited about a vegetable?
BUT not even a hearty, rustic vegetable - instead, basically something they've turned into baby food. WTF?

Tue meat appears to be charred almost beyond recognition. Creamed spinach is it? while vibrant in color looks like a pile of bad crap. what is that...stuffing or greasy potatoes? Awful, the whole dish is presented as if it were scraped out of the garbage can in the back. Luger better get wise to the goings on in his kitchen. What's that yellow debris on the...dish is it? Needs to change up the plates. Garage sale item.
Um, yeah: ugly plates, disgusting looking meat, and as for the spinach, well, I ain't no Popeye...
