Chutzpah

Saudi Arabia is trying to enlist other oil-producing countries to support a provocative idea: if wealthy countries reduce their oil consumption to combat global warming, they should pay compensation to oil producers. 

This has been passed around online this morning with "oh my, the chutzpah!  well I NEVER!!" To me, it just sounds like oil companies just wanna be paid like insurance companies (healthcare or otherwise.) Use me, don't use me, whatevs, just pay me. (And you will.)
