Frank Lloyd Wrong (I Just Made That Up!!!)


Speaking as a fan of the usonian style (I feel like I could go nuts with the wood panel/shag, maybe some dropped ceiling shit that I love), am I nuts for wondering how in the world the lone "skyscraper" that Frank Lloyd Wright ever designed, out of 400 buildings, is in ... Oklahoma? REALLY? Dude spends 16 years working on the Guggenheim, and yet when he's like "Hey, I gotta skyscraper" they're like "awesome, let's stick it in Bartlesville, Oklahoma!"? Really? Wtf? A bit like Paris Hilton seeing "Fargo Pancake Supper" on her Party Itinerary, no? Fucking weird.
