Sully on Palin

She is a deeply disturbed person which makes this work of fiction and fact all the more challenging to read.
She's not "deeply disturbed;" she's getting paid a shitload of money to run around and spew whatever she wants to without getting called on anything;  I would do as much if it meant a free 3-piece from the Colonel every day. What is disturbing is that a "war hero" Senator felt okay thrusting her in the position she's in, and what's even MORE disturbing is that not a single Republican will stand up and point out that she's not to be taken seriously. They'll hem and haw and say she's "exciting," but they refuse to make her leave the table. THEY'RE the ones keeping her fantasies alive, not "the liberal media." I've said it before, the single greatest thing that can happen to the Democrats is she's the GOP nominee in 2012. Right now, it's up to the GOP to shut her up. Otherwise, people like me are certainly enjoying the ride.

"Since the Dish has tried to be rigorous and careful in analyzing Palin's unhinged grip on reality from the very beginning - specifically her fantastic story of her fifth pregnancy - we feel it's vital that we grapple with this new data as fairly and as rigorously as possible. That takes time to get right. And it is so complicated we simply cannot focus on anything else."

Ah, yes, the beat goes on with the famous Palin Baby Switch.

Who else do you read?

LaRouche? L. Ron Hubbard?

Boss: Who do you read?
George: I like Mike Lupika.
Boss: Mike Lupika?
George: He's a sports writer for the daily news. I find him very insightful...
Boss: No, no, no. I mean authors.
George: Lot of good ones. I don't even want to mention anyone because I'm afraid I'm going to leave somebody out.
Boss: Name a couple.
George: Who do I like? I, like, uh, Art, Vandelay.
Boss: Art Vandelay?
George: He's an obscure writer. Beatnik, on the village.
Boss: What has he written?
George: Venetian Blinds.
