Late 70's/early 80's. La Plata, Maryland (which was also the town of the first oldies station I found as a young buck, Extra 104). Wood paneling, Pac-Man in the corner. First time I had ever seen soft-serve ice cream. One day, I'll be able to tell Short Bus I was there for his first trip :)
