The GOP has been oddly quiet on the Austin suicide pilot. If he had had a towel wrapped around his head, the off-the-charts hysteria would be one for the ages. But I guess they don't want to come out against unhinged lunatics that "hate the gub'ment!!" whose only solutions are violence. That is, after all, their base. I'm surprised this guy hasn't already been declared the national bird of The Tea Party. Of course his actions are completely justified since, as Scott Brown says, "nobody likes to pay taxes." Of course.

I'm used to your slapdash stupid and knee-jerk shit, where everything runs by stream into the vessel of your dislike, but at least be accurate. Read the hallmarks of his manifesto, and he sounds much more like you than a Tea Party member:
"Why is it that a handful of thugs and plunderers can commit unthinkable atrocities (and in the case of the GM executives, for scores of years) and when it’s time for their gravy train to crash under the weight of their gluttony and overwhelming stupidity, the force of the full federal government has no difficulty coming to their aid within days if not hours? Yet at the same time, the joke we call the American medical system, including the drug and insurance companies, are murdering tens of thousands of people a year and stealing from the corpses and victims they cripple, and this country’s leaders don’t see this as important as bailing out a few of their vile, rich cronies."
"It’s clear they see no crisis as long as the dead people don’t get in the way of their corporate profits rolling in."
"In particular, zeroed in on a section relating to the wonderful “exemptions” that make institutions like the vulgar, corrupt Catholic Church so incredibly wealthy."
"However, this is where I learned that there are two “interpretations” for every law; one for the very rich, and one for the rest of us"
"Instead he was one of the thousands who got nothing because the incompetent mill management and corrupt union (not to mention the government) raided their pension funds and stole their retirement. All she had was social security to live on."
"I decided that I didn’t trust big business to take care of me, and that I would take responsibility for my own future and myself."
"Ironically, after what they had done the Government came to the aid of the airlines with billions of our tax dollars … as usual they left me to rot and die while they bailed out their rich, incompetent cronies WITH MY MONEY!"
"I remember reading about the stock market crash before the “great” depression and how there were wealthy bankers and businessmen jumping out of windows when they realized they screwed up and lost everything. Isn’t it ironic how far we’ve come in 60 years in this country that they now know how to fix that little economic problem; they just steal from the middle class (who doesn’t have any say in it, elections are a joke) to cover their asses and it’s “business-as-usual”. Now when the wealthy fuck up, the poor get to die for the mistakes… isn’t that a clever, tidy solution."
"The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed."
Oh, of course I'm certain all of this was read and distilled with the proper caution, just like always. Of course.
Nobody likes a spoilsport, Xmastime.
He sounds very much like you, only thinner, and you're easy shot at the all-purpose punching bag Tea Party was written without either reading what he wrote or without regard to the facts.
Yet, the violence he perpetrated is no more assignable to your bizarro brand of left wing politics than it is to Tea Party fever.
Which is why you should be careful on these things (you were similarly lazy on the census worker).
You may atone by posting this:

well, he's pretty anti-government; enuff to fly a plane into the IRS. I am very much pro-government. which someone might pick up by reading Xmastime for more then 3 seconds.
also, my original point was the GOP's silence. are you also saying that when an american flies planes into a building in an anti-america tirade, it's 1) okay, cause hey, we're all frustrated with government 2) not "assignable?'
do you actually READ my posts, or do you simply spin your "I hope Glenn Beck sees this!!" Mad-Libs book?

then why would Brown immediately default to Tea Party talking points ("he was frustrated with government" "nobody like to pay taxes") instead of pointing out "hey, the guy was a raving left-wing lunatic"? according to you, that's what he should've said; as was the entire point of my my original post, he didn't. could it be that Brown and the politicians like Brown are very happy to let things like this fuel the anger/unease of people like the Tea Partiers, whom played a role in his election as well as many other hopefuls, also whom are NOT pointing out what you did about the guy being a leftie? seriously, could you make my point even MORE for myself?
You have been underwhelming as of late; a whipping boy like to get whipped, and I am not being whipped. you're like a dog that ain't slept in three days and is just barking at ghosts. "oooh, Xmas mentions Tea PArty?!?? wooff!!! (slam into Xmas/Tea Party rant without actually trying to figure out what Im saying or if you even agree with it.)"
take a break, go to the beach. sip some pina colodas, turn off whatever huge red siren goes off whenever I type "tea party" or some such. ease back into it - maybe riff on one of my Garfield posts, maybe some titties, ease your way back into things. hey, youll be fine, you're just tired is all. for instance, the Marley I look up to wouldn't throw a fat joke into the same sentence as one where he is disparaging me for an "easy shot" at the tea partiers (I apologize in advance if you actually missed the day they went over 'making a case' in law school.)
get some sleep. ill be here when you're ready. cooing into your ear, a pack of Nabs held on my wrist with a rubber band.

Because the kind of childish, easy, ill-considered political point Brown prefers to make is of a different stripe than the childish, easy, ill-considered political point you skimmed on some other website and regurgitated without having much of a clue what the dude actually wrote.
You are correct though. I am always sub-par when I take you seriously.
Now stop being so cross. Am I not made of the same blood, sinew and muscle as any man?
you save yourself by highlighting the right sentence.
and, ta-da! you are answerless.
just because Brown is an idiot doesnt mean i am. you know you're better than that.
no, youre supposed be someone i look up to. you need to push me; what should i read?
Actually, Brown is an idiot, but you are -
KABLAM!!!!!!
COMIN' AT YA'!
IN YOUR FACE, TEABAGGERS!
YEA!
For all of you readers, for whom I repeat our private email conversation (yes, you two, jealousy should be your next feeling - Xmastime and I have a deeper relationship), all I read is history, but to better hone your political sensibilities and mature your approach to current politics, I recommend Gary Wills' Nixon Agonistes and Rick Perlstein's Nixonland.
I just searched your site and saw the you read Nixonland but were not impressed.
I'm disappointed but I'll recover.
Here's a great political novel, in its own way: The Red White and the Blue by John Gregory Dunne.
thanks buddy!!
i think "not impressed" is a bit dismissive/strong. i recall it being somewhat repetitive. and i was impressed with Nixon himself.
"jealousy should be your next feeling"
dying! :)
