I was gonna blather on for awhile about this election being an empty soothing of our feelings re: "everything will be alright as long as we ignore actual problems/solutions" and how as voters we signal we understand how to keep this non-serious discussion going by demanding that nobody be placed in charge of government that can possibly be smarter than us, since that will hurt our feelings and, of course, as sissified, crybaby Americans, surely nothing is more important than the preservation of our precious feelings, a la this guy HERE.
