Whackbook.

I'll be honest: until the personal computer existed, I could not have imagined it. And then once I started using a computer, the thought that something like the internet could even possibly exist never occurred to me. And even after about a dozen years online, I'm sure a social network like Facebook would never have occurred to me were it not one day thrust in my face. At each of these levels of discovery, I was surprised. But I can't say that even collectively these points of discovery have made it any less surprising to find myself friends with an 18th-century member of the Virginia House of Burgess.
