I'm not an expert on economics so there's only so much I can really say about the big tax compromise, but the one consensus I seem to be getting from my sources is that after this recent election in which "the people" stormed the castle and furiously demanded that the deficit be cut and that any stimulus would be rewarded with tilting the Earth into the sun, the first thing seen from the Senate is a deficit-exploding stimulus package.
But no, no, really...THIS time the GOP is REALLY gonna listen to, you know, "the folks." They've learned their lesson! And once those Tea Partiers get into town, they're REALLY gonna shake shit up!
