Fear of a Sniffy Planet

Slate seems worried Sniffy is hurting herself by not cow-towing (sp?) to black people, which to me is pretty funny. I mean, there's probably fewer black people that would vote for her than watched Seinfeld, for chrissake. Sniffy's smart enough to know that "being sensitive to the needs or wants of black people" doesn't mean shit compared to her base's intense, burning desire to "take our country back!" and end this centuries-old era of white oppression. I'm sorry, but Sniffitus Finch could go on tv and say "seriously, why do niggers yell at the movies?" and not lose a single vote. Come on, now. This is news? Really?
