3-D(elusional)

I cannot think of a movie that would be less served with the added bonus of 3-D than an adaptation of The Great Gatsby. What the fuck? Are NIck Carraway's musings supposed to LEAP OUT!!!! of the screen at us? "Hmmm...who IS Gatsby...BOO!"

Wtf? Is this an early April Fool's joke?

I was gonna list a great American novel I WOULD like to see in 3-D, but got distracted by this list of the greatest novels of all time, as found at Modern Library. Hmm. See if you can guess which list came from a poll conducted during a Glenn Beck Coors Lite Pony Kegger at Kentucky's Creation Museum, and which one was actually done on, you know....Earth (or, as Broathatime!! would call it, "Earf'!")

Eric Reiberg said...: He's clearly being swayed by the single image of "the eyes of Dr. T.J. Eckleburg". The only other moments I could think of would be when Carraway first goes into Gatsby's mansion and when Gatsby and Daisy kill Myrtle. Otherwise, I'd rather see a 3-D Tyra Banks Show.; 10:31 PM
