perpetua has always flummoxed me in his REMness. he readily admits "Monster" was the first one he heard and therefore takes it out of the trash heap it belongs in
whats the frequency kenneth and strange currencies are great. i cant remember the rest, but its better than the 4 or 5 that followed

Dude, none of REM's '00s output (Up, Reveal, Around the Sun) is worse than that turd called Monster, one of the few records I actually returned to a record store just for suckage alone.
