The crux of Rick Perry's reasoning that he should be president is that he'd emasculate government into getting out of the way to allow for an explosion of economic success in the private sector. And yet during all this historical $crillah-making, Perry would be a mere government employee, which he has been happy to be since 1984. Are we really supposed to believe Perry is so willing to turn on the money spigot for everyone else, while selflessly standing on the outside of the money grab?
