People think that as a bleeding-heart commie pinko lefty liberal that I give no quarter to any Republican candidate for president; in my own defense, while everybody else I was with laughed at Perry getting some boos from the crowd at the debate last night, I stuck up for him by admonishing everybody to give him a chance, as maybe they weren't boos we heard, but maybe Springsteen had just walked onstage.  I mean, you gotta give someone a chance first, people.
