Dear Foodtown:


Lasagna consists of an assembly of meat,cheese, and pasta; not ricotta cheese, ricotta cheese and oh fuck it let's just dump a pile of ricotta on a plastic plate and call it lasagna.

Ricotta (especially like I make it with herbs and parmesan) is an element of good lasagna. However, it is not the star - just like every fukkin vegetable that some smart ass tries to mix in a casserole dish and call "veggie lasagna." Your swill is a miserable bait-and-switch and it ain't lasagna.

Oh yeah, ask Brothatime about Big Jim's lasagna at the fraternity. They never got all the ingredients in one pan. One week, no sauce, next week no meat, next week, no noodles. . .
