John Fleming: Americn Hero?

People are giving multi-millionaire GOP Congressman John Fleming shit for this incredibly absurd statement while parroting the old, tired and completely untrue GOP third-grader mantra that companies would be flocking to hire people if only Obama would lower their tax rates to  ones which would only allow them to marginally break records for profits while sitting on $2 trillion dollars in cash:

Fleming responded by saying that while his businesses made $6.3 million last year, after you “pay 500 employees, you pay rent, you pay equipment, and food,” his profits “a mere fraction of that” — “by the time I feed my family, I have maybe $400,000 left over.”

I'd like to focus on his chutzpah, which is outstanding.  I mean, it's not like he's that dipshit from The Real World who tried to plead poverty re: feeding his family on $174K/year; he's telling us that he's got $400,000 lying around AFTER FUCKING PAYING ALL HIS BILLS AND FEEDING HIS FAMILY!  Wow.  I'd have liked to see him go further and whine about only having $400K to spend on video games, or literally be setting money on fire as he made this statement, but still.  Impressive.
