Former Reel to Reel softball legend Joe Flint was famous for wearing knee pads not only while running the bases but while playing right field, breaking the world record for base hits that traveled about 6 feet and had such spin so as to defy the laws of physics
(years later, any head-scratching base hit that doesn't make it to the mound is still referred to as a "Joe Flint", although nowadays they occur maybe once a season, unlike Joe's thrice-a-game average) hopping around like baby chicks without ever rolling foul
(you're welcome for not using the "fowl" pun there, America), and going 6 for 6 in one game. And now, writing for the LA Times,
he absolutely nails the Entourage finale:
It was the series finale that the fans have been dreaming about.
Carrie fell in love and jetted off to Paris. Charlotte finally got her baby. Samantha and Miranda, as has often been the case, were the loyal friends making sure their gal pals had happy endings. Mr. Big finally realized there's more to life than work and was ready to commit to a family.
Oh wait, this is a recap for "Entourage" not "Sex and the City."
