Baseball 101
Via THIS INTERVIEW with Yankee centerfielder Curtis Granderson I see that the Grandy Man is one of only 37 major leaguers with college degrees. I guess I shouldn't really be THAT shocked, but that's what, 4.9%? Wow. Sounds like my high school class. Well, and my college, probably.

Baseball players in the last twenty years have begun to sound less erudite than Football and Basketball players. Granderson is an exception. I was pretty sad when Detroit lost him to the pinstripes. He is obviously smart, genial and exceptionally generous, and except for playing for the fackin' Yanks, he seems like an awfully good guy.
