Aw, Peg!

Although it's prolly been rerun a hundred times in syndication, I'm still pretty stoked FOX is airing the pilot to Xmastime superslice Married...with Children this month:

The caustic family sitcom starring O'Neill as a lazy, bitter husband launched in 1987 and was a game-changing hit for Fox during its early years. The comedy also helped brand the network as having more of an edge than its more traditional broadcast rivals. The episode will air Sunday, April 22 at 7 p.m.

Oh, Katey Segal. Sigh. Even as a young buck I preferred Peg over Kelly. Those teef, those tittays, and those shiny blouses. My Mrs. Xmastime was all there from the start. (Swoon.)
