I'm glad Rich Lowry fired John Derbyshire, but I couldn't help but wince every time he referred to him as "Derb" in the statement. It's like a fraternity finally agreeing to boot out "Spanky" because of his serial date raping; the written wink implies they'll still go to Spanky's parties cause he throws the best ones.
