Hoops!

When I saw the title of a documentary was Doin' It in the Park I assumed like probably everybody else that it was about rape, but it turns out it's about playground basketball in NYC:
The film, which premieres this summer, features Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Kenny Smith, “Pee Wee” Kirkland, “Fly” Williams, God Shammgod, Tim “Headache” Gittens, Corey “Homicide” Williams, Kenny Anderson, Jack Ryan, Richard “Crazy Legs” Colon, Niki Avery, Milani Malik, and the Park Pick-Up Players of NYC.
As someone who spent more than my fair share of hours playing on the dangerous streets of  the  warm, cozy suburban confines of The Chinn Dome, at which sometimes Ma Chinn would run out of homemade chocolate chip cookies and milk to give us; why YES faithful reader, that IS fucked up  New York City myself, I'm looking forward to watching this.
