More Beatles/Mad Men Tomorrow Never Knows

Matthew Weiner on getting the song for $250,000:
Getting the track wasn’t as easy as dropping off suitcases and suitcases of cash, though. As Weiner explains, “I had to do a couple things that I don’t like doing, which is share my story line and share my pages ... Asked what he would have done if Apple Corps had ... said no, Mr. Weiner replied: “I don’t know. I would have changed the story.”
Also, have the Mad Men crazies figured out yet if the album Don is holding is a real copy released in August of '66, or a reissue? And do we assume it was the MUCH weaker American version, a lá without Doctor Robert, And Your Bird Can Sing and I'm Only Sleeping, aka superslices?
