The Shining's Awesome

We all know that Stephen King has always hated Stanley Kubrick's version of The Shining, and THIS PERSON HERE says he has a point. I didn't make it halfway through the article since the movie The Shining is awesome and this writer can eat a bag of ducks, but I think a better question is why was  Joe Hackett from Wings   Charles Grodin on the cover of the first edition of the book?
