Happy 42nd Birfday!

To Garfield, my favorite cartoon ever. I'm sure it's been terrible for years, but from 1978-1984 he was truly the king of the beach.  I still have a coupla the first collections, and they're still laugh out loud funny. Here's the first strip ever, plus a random one I've always like.
