The post below about Whatshisface has reminded me of my previous beef with the should-be-better Bic Mac, which included:
- It’s remarkable that after 50 years McDonalds Big Mac is still so popular considering its total absence of structural integrity. Has anyone ever finished one before it started completely falling apart? 😡
- How is this sandwich so popular when its so big but only has one slice of cheese?
I would now like to add:
- The box it comes in is exactly as wide as the sandwich itself it, meaning to pick it up you've gotta scrape the buns and start tearing/unsettling the shit before you've even started.
The fact that this thing has lasted 50+ years as a goddam cultural icon is staggering.
