Just now I saw the name "Fond du Lac, Wisconsin" and wondered to myself ("wondered to myself"....as opposed to wondering to American chemist and bibliographer of science Henry Carrington Bolton, I guess) why that name sounded so familiar, and a quick trip to Wikipedia reminded me that it's the home of Don Gorske, whose claim to fame is eating over 30,000 Big Macs.
Quite a life I'm putting together here, people.
