"Hey, I'm Not Gonna Pay a Lot for That Muffler!"

All the crazy, amazing tech advancements we hear about every day and we still can't seem to crack having the ironically-named muffler on a truck operate at fewer than 900,000 decibels. Great. Did the muffler people just decide to give up years ago? 

"But Xmastime", you say in the voice of Craig “Ironhead” Heyward from those soap commercials (RIP), “didn't you point this phenomenon out all the way back in 2007?"
