Love Me Do Sure Why Not

In Hamburg we clicked. At the Cavern we clicked. But if you want to know when we ‘knew’ we’d arrived, it was getting in the charts with ‘Love Me Do’. That was the one. It gave us somewhere to go. - Paul McCartney

Even though of course I'm very aware that Love Me Do was their first single I've never thought of making its release day a sort of Beatle Holiday but if my favorite Beatles podcast is gonna do it then who the hell am I to stop them?
