Tom Hanks
gets a lot of shit for his weird performance as Colonel Tom Parker in
Elvis but was it any worse than his godawful accent in
Catch Me If You Can? I mean at least Parker was a real person with audio footage of his voice; Hanks character in
Catch Me If You Can isn't a real person anyone's familiar with so he could've just played it straight and been fine. I mean it wasn't
a Costner-worthy headscratcher, but still. Camon.
