And of course the reissues of the Red and Blue albums were also announced, of which I have 2 thoughts:

1) the only good thing Allen "Satan" Klein did was putting these compilations out 50 years ago and the only other good thing he did was not putting covers on them, so I don't really understand why they have 3 covers on them now. MAYBE I can understand Twist and Shout because it's become so iconically theirs and a big part of the "recording Please Please Me all in one 10-hour session" story, but I don't see the point of these at all.

2) they did a TERRIBLE job of taking my advice re: what to add and what to take off; DO YOUR OWN COMPARISONS WHILE AGREEING WITH ME HERE

I can't wait to hear the new - AND FINAL - Beatles track next week!!!!
