Brooklyn @ 25

[XMASTIME NOTE] I moved to Brooklyn 25 years ago this past January; throughout the year I'll be noting things, no matter how small they are in reality, that I remember & associate with those first few days/weeks/months of living in the greatest city in the world.

I'd never heard this until one January night when Rrthur (YES ladies, THAT Rrthur!) put it on the turntable in between trips of me sprinting down to the bodega for another 6-pack of tallboys. The only bummer is that right alongside it there was another song I fell in love with at the same time, but I've never been able to remember it and it's bugged me for fucking years. But I've loved Border Radio until that moment, and anytime I listen to it I'm back at 232 Ainslie Street with Rrthur (YES ladies, THAT Rrthur!) and Mrs. Rrthur, fresh from moving to Brooklyn USA with everything & nothing in front of me all at once.
