Names & Me

One time in college I was flipping around (tv channels, NOT chicks - let's keep it clean here, people!!) and I landed on a Van Halen concert on MTV and before I could flip away it somehow got worse, as Sammy Hagar threw a lead break to Eddie Van Halen by saying "take it, Edward" and ever since that moment anytime anyone tries to be cutesy-wutesy with a name like that I cringe; and the opposite direction is true too, I've never even liked it when Dennis Miller would name drop "Billy Shakespeare".
