Today is the 49th anniversary of the debut episode of one of the most classic 70s sitcoms of the "70s Golden Age of Britcoms",
The Good Life, which will always have a special place in my heart. Not because it’s necessarily in my Britcom Top 10 – it’s close – but because about 10 years ago was when the floodgates of British sitcoms opened up for me thanks to streaming platforms. I stumbled into some sort of "All-Time Best BBC Sitcoms!" article somewhere and saw
The Good Life on it and so I checked it out and the rest is history! Or, a tv show I’ve watched over the years, I guess.
Another show I decided to watch because of that list?
Only Fools and Horses.
