In the Fall of 1992 I visited a friend at James Madison University, and while visiting the local college record store my mania at seeing a copy of former local legends DT & the Shakes' Masquerade album was such that I could not stop myself from buying it; later when I excitedly told Rrthur (YES ladies, THAT Rrthur), who was the DT in DT & the Shakes (don't worry he'll love that little joke when he sees it in the ear 2059), he quickly admonished me that I'd bought an album that could've been discovered for the very first time by someone else and of course he was right since I probably already had about 10 copies myself already, straight from Rrthur himself (listen to me, Sir Braggy McBraggerson!).
I'm experiencing the exact same thing right now about another record I’ve owned & loved for 30+ years. π€πΈπΈπ₯πΊ
