Why is the 1st Commandment YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME ?
Isn't this just God admitting that yes, there ARE other gods? If he's "God", why does he need this? Why does he hafta sound so threatened right off the back; I mean it's a little 2nd-grade-girl-going-“steady”-with-her-“boyfriend’-for-the-first-time, n'est-pas?
