I really don't know why there's not an entire tv channel dedicated to live-streaming diners and documentaries about diners; they are one of the best things about America, I've fucking never stopped getting completely jazzed at the prospect of going to one and they're intoxicating to watch operate. Today's New York Times - or, as I call it, The Times - has a great illustration highlighting an article about a Jersey diner going through a tough time:

It must be diner weekend for me, just yesterday I was re-watching one of my old favorites, a classic Rik Sebak joint about Pennsylvania diners. You're welcome, Earf!
