This Really Gets Me (fucking screaming)

Now see this fucking drives me crazy. Months ago, I pre-ordered The Kinks’ You Really Got Me single in celebration of it being the 60th anniversary of its still-stunning release. And earlier as you minute-by-minute fans know so well, I pointed out that TODAY is the 60 anniversary of the day it was released…so WHY would they schedule this re-release to occur on August 16, 12 days AFTER today’s anniversary? If you’re making a big deal of the anniversary then why not release it on the actual anniversary...I mean they obviously planned this for months if not years; did they really engineer the schedule and then were like "oh well!" when it was 12 days off of today's date? What the fuck??? How could you be that close and not nail it?!?!?!? AAAAARRRRGGGGH!!
