KD in the NYC

Moi Say Moi last year about Williamsburg's beloved Kellogg's Diner:
This is a magic place in a magic spot and I loved every time I ate there. To be honest, I can't believe I've never really mentioned it on Xmastime, or in my first book.

Anyways...here's to hoping someone buys it and never changes a damn thing.
Well it turns out I got half my wish kinda right, according to The New Yorker:
Williamsburg's storied Kellogg's Diner (518 Metropolitan Ave., Brooklyn) has been saved from its long slide into charismatic decrepitude by the restaurateur Louis Skibar; the new iteration will have a Tex-Mex-inflected menu overseen by the talented chef Jackie Carnesi, and—most important—it'll be open 24/7.
I guess it'll never be what it was, but by the time I see it next if all that's the same is the sign then I'll learn to live with it.
