Something I haven't heard anyone mention during all these whiplash firings/re-hirings of federal workers by Muskolini & Baron von Trumpenshit is that while there's always a "don't worry, they're gonna hafta pretty much immediately hire everybody back" feeling lurking in the background, #1) you never KNOW you’re gonna get hired back or when, and #2) this only fucks up things for private companies too - would you even bother interviewing one of the "fired" federal workers knowing that in the very next minute things could whip right back the other way with them being hired back by the federal government? and then back again, and back again?
So Muskolini & Baron von Trumpenshit's fucking childish games with all the dramatic performance firings have had an even shittier effect that anyone would've thought - we can't even try to feel better by telling ourselves that the federal workers will just get scooped up by the private sector anyway, since from what we're all witnessing anyone in the private sector would be fucking bananas to come within a mile of one of them. Incredible.
