Thoughts. I Have Them.

Other than the fact that of course we all need to be civil and nice and kind with each other, I think we're over-correcting waaaaaaaaaaaaay too far in the whole "we have to kiss & hug those we disagree with" thing; for some reason it's perfectly acceptable to not want to hang out with someone because we don't like, for instance, the same tv shows, but if I say I don't wanna hang out with ________ because they believe some groups of people should be wiped off the Earth for existing or that we all should be swimming in assault rifles everywhere we go then I'm for some reason being unreasonable? I mean you people (what do you mean you people?) know there's nothing I dread more than being the adult in the room but surely there's something in between “I have to knit you throw pillows with hearts & ponies on them while letting you overwhelm my world with your horrific bullshit” and “let’s all shoot each other in the fucking face”, right?
